I agree with what the person above me said about good work with the depth of field. And good job focusing, also; I, myself, have trouble focusing on small things properly, but that's mostly the unfortunate doing of my poor camera.
Anyhow, all in all, lovely. I love those creatures.

I have trouble with that too. I took about twlve pictures of this thing and this was the only one that ended up in focus.
definitely a disadvantage to using a simple point-and-shoot as opposed to one of those fancy SLR ones.

Love the subject and the depth of field have been used extremely well.
The only thing i see is that the flowers in the background pop out above the mantis's head like a crown, but that can be overlooked and the picture can be enjoyed
