Crowpaw slowly opened his eyes and found himself standing around the Moonpool. The sandy-coloured cat he had met before stood in front of him.

"Greetings, Crowpaw."He mewed.

Crowpaw lept to his paws. "W-where am I?"

But before he got an answer, another familiar shape began to appear and ran to the StarClan cat's side. Crowpaw froze as he recognized Dreamcatcher.

"Sandpath!"She yelled.

"Dreamcatcher!" The sandy tom replied.

"I thought I was going to join you today, Sandpath." Dreamcather buried her face in the cat called Sandpath's chest.He licked her ear affectionetly, and purred.

"No love, I will not let you die before your time. I love you far too much to let that happen." Sandpath whispered.

"And I you." Dreamcatcher murmered.

Crowpaw's blue eyes were wide and he felt his pelt prickling. What was Dreamcather doing? How could she love this cat when she already loved Nightwish and Nightwish loved her back so fiercely.

"Crowpaw, I think we need to talk." Dreamcatcher mewed, stepping away from Sandpath.

Crowpaw gave her a hard look."Yes, I think we do!"

"Crowpaw, you see. When I was still a kit, far back, when Berry had thrown me against the stone and made my head bleed, well, that night Sandpath first visited me in my dreams. He told me he would be my friend but after awhile my feelings for him became stronger, as his did for me." Dreamcather began to explain.

"The problem was I have a destiny with Nightwish. he loves me, and I love him too, but my feelings for Sandpath will never end. Nightwish broke my heart once...And during that time, I did realize that I truly wanted to be his mate forever and always. But, I love Sandpath too, and no matter how hard I try, I'll never be able to give him up. He's too valuble to me, and I hope he feels the same."

"Of course I do!" Sandpath smiled and licked the she-cat's cheek.

"Crowpaw, please you can never tell this to Nightwish. It would kill me, if I lost him. I love him far too much. Please, I will tell Nightwish, but I will tell him when I have joined starclan with him, when the time is right. But please, please keep my secret!"

"I promise to keep your secret." Crowpaw mewed, after a long pause.

"Thank you, Crowpaw." Dreamcather replied.

Crowpaw smiled, and turned to Sandpath."So, Sandpath, is it? Well, why did you call me here?"
"Actually, Crowpaw. There is somthing you need to know. You see, you and Leafpaw knew each other before..." Sandpath stopped.

"Before what?" Crowpaw asked questioningly. He felt like he already knew the answer...it was inside his heart...but he couldn't reach it.

"Before you were born. You knew her back, when you were both Leafpool, and Crowfeather..."Sandpath finished.

Crowpaw woke up with a jolt. What?! He thought, alarmed. He knew who Leafpool was, the past medicine cat of ThunderClan, but who was Crowfeather?Suddenly, he realized who the cats in his vision before had been. The tabby that had looked just like Leafpaw was Leafpool, and the dark gray WindClan tom had to be Crowfeather. The apprentice gulped. I was a WindClan cat once? That was why he was so fast! He had the spirit of a WindClan cat! He was the reincarnation of a WindClan cat! And Leafpaw, the one of a medicine cat... Suddenly, another question popped into his head. Did Leafpaw know? His heart ached as he remembered that she was in the medicine cat's den, severely injured. The tom shot out of the den and headed towards the medicine cat's den, determined to see Leafpaw.

"How do you feel?"Jayfeather murmured.

Leafpaw's eyes were no more than tiny slits as she looked up at the medicine cat. "A bit better..."She whispered horsely. "Thanks, Jayfeather. You're a really good medicine cat..."

"I had a really good mentor." Leafpaw saw his eyes clouding with grief before he turned away at the sound of a voice.

"Jayfeather! May I come in?" Leafpaw's heart raced as she recognized Crowpaw.

"I knew we couldn't keep you away for long..."Jayfeather groaned. "Very well, come in, but only for a short time. Leafpaw needs her rest."

Crowpaw quickly came to his friend's side. "Hey..."He mewed quietly.

"Nice of you to drop by."Leafpaw tried to purr, but winced.

"You're gonna be fine, right?"Crowpaw's voice began to tremble.

Leafpaw slowly moved her paw and let it rest on top of Crowpaw's, but she didn't answer.

Crowpaw licked her paw delicatly before mewing. "I have something to tell you..."

Leafpaw's eyes brightened, sensing something important. "W-what is it?"

"I know why you've seem so familiar to me..." Crowpaw began telling her about the fact that they had known each other before they were born.

Three StarClan cats stood watching the apprentices in the sky.

"Are you sure we were right to send Sandpath to tell them, Firestar?" An eldery she-cat rasped.

"Yes, Yellowfang."Firestar replied. "However, they do not know they whole story of their pasts..."

"And that's where Sandstorm comes in, I believe?" Mewed a beautiful toirtoishell.

"Yes..."Firestar's green eyes sparkled with love. Had he noticed the way the toirtoishell looked at him with sadness...?
