I've seen your art style - and I read the tags for this - so I'm guessing curves ( -checks art style again- check that... LOTS of curves lol) and an area of the genderbender fanbase not often touched on.

Seriously though, she does know that she carries as much blame as he does, if not more, right? No way in hell it's less though because face it, if you don't want to have a kid yet you NEED to make sure everything is in order so the possibility of conception is as low as possible.

He's oblivious - she's upset - I mean, when you're upset, you don't THINK rationally... if anything... it makes you MORE prone to doing stupid shit 
Plotting when you're angry - REALLY angry - can lead to mistakes - BIG mistakes - which a clever writer/artist can turn into quite the plot if they have a mind

that is 100% correct, but it wouldn't make for much of a story if it did happen that way
So we throw that common sense out the window and we create a epic tale fueled by anger and revenge :3

Will common sense kick in after the fact? One of the things I detest is when people think they have the moral high ground and no one contests their position. Even in TG stories, it just comes off as cruel when that happens, a good amount of revenge stories come off as petty.
But it wouldn’t have killed either of them to not share a night of intimacy if they were aware they didn’t have their half of protection.
