I really wish people would stop "protecting" their work.I get that you want to protect your artwork, that's fine, but putting watermarks that draw your eye away from the artwork is awful.
The automatic watermarking DA gives is the worst offender. Just put your name in the corner or something, please.

Yeah, watermarks can be a pain. One of the guys I watch got tired of art thieving and watermarking so he just blended his signature with the rest of the art.

You make a very good point there.
Though I really can't help but laugh when seeing just how many watermarks you managed to squeeze in there to really drive home the point. x]
All I've done was put a small and simple "Paco '09" signature in an inconspicuous corner, because I know how distracting those marks can be.

They could at least shorten the watermark and move it to the corner like some websites do, but that's my opinion.

Sadly true.
Better artists often do watermark their work, but they keep it subtle, though difficult to remove.
