hahaha! I can't draw pillows worth crap.
I am amused by this, though **; They have a sort of... "squishy" look to them (especially Tao Ren's pillow o___o ).

)Tis a fun series! Especially as you get furrrther and fuuurther alooong...~! (Talking about the manga. Since I haven't seen the animated version of it, but I plan to.. OH! but I did see these short clips of them with their english-dubbed voices.. and OMG! @_@ What have they done to Tao Ren?! :: shudders :: ~twitch~ oooh man.
AH! I'm getting off subject.)Some regrets I have about this picture is that
1.) I couldn't fit in Ren's spike. poo..
2.) the "second side" to the panda on Ren's pillow didn't come out lookin' the way I wanted it to. :T hm.
and 3.) I need to learn to shade skin better =.= :: endlessly scratches their arms, hands and faces ::
eh. X3 Practice makes (semi)perfect! (" semi" meaning: to be honest..[Ruri's opinion] >> in the realm of art.. it's pretty hard to get to the "perfect" level. Cuz people have different opinions on how they view the realm of art, ya know? **; yeah.. ignore me.
)The medium for the lineart was openCanvas; and to color, I used Adobe Photoshop.

Holy oh my god shit what? This is fantastic, amazing! Not only are the character true to form, but the colors are rich, the shading is fantastic, the background is simple but beautiful, and the linework! Oh my goodness I do love the sketchy feel compared and really, I think I'm just trying to make this comment less *SQUEE FAVE* but it's going to end up like that anyways. Too much to love. From the highlights to the facial expressions. Fave fave fave. :3
