Wow, this is a completely foreign style to me...
Recently hooked up with a friend to help with her comic idea. This is Rice's character Keran, a dis-homed gay boy. She said something punkish, but not, and I thought of this. She also liked the more indy comic style, thus the odd looking stuff.
First pic in Sai in a looooong while...
It ate my brain, this line-art did. If it looks funkily out of proportion, just remember that his head's angled downward. He's supposed to be staring at Dean strumming a tune in the tub, but I don't know what Dean looks like yet XD

I always have so much trouble drawing characters from this camera angle. You did it very well though. And might I add those are some wonderful lips!

i can't necessarily write a critique cause i don't have a premium, so here's my two cents.
i think it's beautifully done, but some of the lines look more shakey compared to others (mainly the right side of the chin) so the line art could use a little more consistancy (though it's really not much of a problem), and the shading on the right side of the jacket could be a little more prominant, because the shading there doesn't completely blend with the rest of the shading in my opinion. the left eye is a little small for my taste. Besides those two consistancy problems, i think this is one of my favorite pictures if seen uploaded in a long time, and you should keep up the good work ^_^

It's fine :3 I'd go back and fix the eye (cuz yeah, it's been bugging me too) but compy crash made me lose all the files >; As far as the shaky lines go, this was purely concept work, and I hadn't planned on coloring it at all XD So in the end, I didn't bother cleaning it up. Same goes for the coloring.
