I wanted to try a slightly different approach to coloring than what I used in Cat on the Futon . May these work in progress images help you with your own colored pencil technique.

Final piece:

Materials: Prismacolor colored pencils (Premier and Verithin), Strathmore bristol (11in x 17in, Sequential art 300 series, smooth)

From left to right, top to bottom: lines, blacks, 90% grays (Cool, French and Warm), Primary figure (Razer) colors, secondary figures (Atrocitus and Aya) colors, detail outlining (with Verithin pencils)/final piece
