I've read several of the previous comments and have the following to say in response: There are many things one can do with one's own body to produce illusions. Art being illusion in its very existence, swings wide the doors of possibility. We are each our own work of art and therefore are capable of expressing any concept well, with naught but our bodies. When we combine art media with the tool of the human body, our idea or concept is intensified. Rather than being judgmental of a model's weight, perhaps one should ask oneself, "What is the artist trying to say with giving the model this particular appearance?" Jumping to a short comment of "Woah, she's too skinny" does not help or support anyone involved and only shows a lack of respect for everyone-- the artist, the model, the concept, and yourself included.
That being said, I can get to the real reason I chose to comment on this piece. The piece!
The exaggerated lights, shadows and the contrast between them are what really make this piece intense and interesting. The line that's created from the model's pose really fits the concept and adds interest to the composition. I also like the framing you've done in the background. There's a sense of depth as well as closure but it's not overdone and still manages to leave the piece open.
You've captured great detail of texture with the closeup image but, as others have stated, the face lacks this. I do think that one could arrive at some sort of symbolic explanation for this, though (whether there is one or not), so it doesn't necessarily hurt the piece.
I do feel, however, that both images would be stronger if displayed on their own. Together, there seems to be a conflict of power and therefore the balance of the overall piece is a little unstable. Then again, this could just be my own personal preference.
I don't usually comment on photography of this sort since it's not within my personal taste. However, I was compelled to because you've got a lot of strong elements in the mix here that I think are often overlooked (especially in Fetish photography). So thank you for sharing! You've accomplished some really nice work.

What you said about the model's apperance, frankly, I agree. Personally, when I saw "Tourture" and then saw that the model's ribs were visible, I instantly thought of starvation. People really need to open up their minds to think that mabey the model was supposed to look like that for the picture. I have a friend that no matter how much she eats, she doesn't gain weight. Sometimes being thin isn't something the person chooses to look like. Hoo... this has gone on way to long , sorry!

Absolutely. Insecurity breeds ignorance and simple misunderstandings can get blown out of proportion. My sister was criticized for her waif-like frame until her last years in high school. She was teased for being anorexic when that wasn't the case at all. If anyone else had the diet she had, they'd pack on the pounds in no time. The same goes for the other way around as well when people poke fun at others for being overweight.

Here, here. The photograph is gorgeous. I'm particularly fond of the floo/wall backdrop with it's subtle dirty texture.
