Description Just finished inking this one a few minutes ago. Took about 2 hours or so to finish. I think I'm starting to really get the hang of this.

All credit for the original work goes to BChing. I only inked his great lines.

This is awesome!

Is the inking digital?

Thanks! And yes it is. I used Manga Studio Debut for this one. Just as a test mostly to see how well the program worked. It took a little getting used to, but I didn't have Photoshop on my laptop, and Manga Studio was one of the few programs I knew of that supported pressure sensitivity for my Wacom.

I encountered the same problem with pressure sensitivity.

Have you tried GIMP? It's free. Then there's Paint SAI, but that costs money after 31 days.

I've downloaded GIMP but haven't had a chance to try it yet. I wasn't sure if it had pressure sensitivity or not. If it does, that could be a good alternative to Photoshop as well. As much as I love PS, its just so darn expensive lol.

The brush tool, pencil, and eraser are all pressure sensitive. It also has a wonderful tool called the 'ink tool' or something. It lets you create awesome digital calligraphy (even from the worst handwriting), but I also use it for background inks sometimes.

I'd get PS, but yeah... too expensive!

Just letting you know, I was testing out GIMP last night. It's pretty awesome, especially for being free. I think the pressure sensitivity works just about as well as Photoshop. Now I just need to save up for a better tablet lol! I've got the cheapest Wacom ever, the Bamboo Fun.

Can't help but love the comic stuff but then you make armor. That's badass.

Haha thanks. Its hard to balance the two, so I switch back and forth every few days. Some days I work on armor, others I'm drawing comics.
