Description So umm it's 7:00 am and I couldn't sleep so I thought I might submit something new since I've been quite busy lately. I took this shot last summer from a train.

Oh by the way this is my first tilt shift photo and all comments are huuuuugely appreciated!

I don't like tilt shift effects, never have, (never will?) but I have to admit this photo is great, truly "model-railroadish" (as *insideglow wrote) but I still don't like tilt shi(f)t in general All the best

Did you use a tilt shift lens on this, or did you "fake it" in photoshop or something. I saw your DD one but figured if I commented on this one I'd have higher chances of reaching you aha

haha that's clever Unfortunately I don't have a real tilt shift lens, so yes they are both "fake" tilt shift photos.

This is a really cool photo. It really caught my eye. I really like the strong colours and I really like the use of the tilt shift, so it literally pulls my eyes to the centre. I'm not too familiar with the technique but it seems to be a really cool one. You did an awesome job with it, it's very cool looking.
