Nice! The colors remind me of a work I did recently:Β rociorodriguez.deviantart.com/β¦

Thanks! The colour pallets are similar, mine lacks the vibrant red yours has though.

I didn't know you were using Krita !
I love the facial features of your characters, they are very singular and different from what is usually seen. Your style is immediately recognizable but at the same time, your characters definitely don't have all the same face. That's quite impressive.

Yes, I've been using Krita for a while now, I love it! You use it too right, have you tried Β version 3.0?Β
Thank you very much, I'm so happy to hear that! It's kind of difficult sometimes, it's very easy to fall prey to the same-face syndrome. I guess my thought process has changed over time, it used to be that my sole goal was to make beautiful characters. Now I'm much more interested in making interesting shapes that flow well together.Β

Yes I use Krita too ! But no, I haven't tried version 3.0 yet. I'm kinda guilty of hardly ever updating my software, 'cause I'm always afraid it'll break something but I'll probably do it soon ^^
Well I think your characters are still beautiful so I'd say you're killing two birds with one stone

I'm glad to hear that! There's a part of me that really wanted to add a colour filter, but I ultimately decided to leave it as I painted it.Β

I'm glad you did.
Although, I'm sure nothing could ruin this. It's too awesome to be ruined.

The filter I wanted to use would really made it pop. It would have changed the mood though, the gold would be a redder hue and the green-ish grey would turn black, the skin changed as well to a more muted colour. It looked nice, but it lost the golden glow. It seems that whenever I look at the image the colour changes depending on the screen or lighting situation (I'm really starting to ramble on now haha).Β

It's fine. I even ramble in my thoughts sometimes. But I really the golden glow it has!
