Dohko and Shion from Saint Seiya.Coloured in Open Canvas 4.06EP
I'm now thinking of these two young saints as a strange couple, due to their homeland. As you may here from the recently news, the relationship between their countries are not quite well. However, I don't want to talk about politics here. Don't be serious.

This is actually my favorite pairing in all of Saint Seiya. It's sweet and symbolic despite the conflict.
Anyway I think you did a nice job, I like the sakura petals and the outfits. You don't get to see them in anything else but their armor most of the time.

I feel so ignorant from my previous post... kinda rushed on it because I needed to be somewhere.. My apologies.
But I do find their relationship very sad because of the current situations. I feel that need to draw a pic of the two but it seems you've beat me to it.

And you're right...they do make a unique couple due to their nationalities, and what is going on in our present day world between those two nations (and I'll stop there)
But I do agree with I doubt it mattered when they were young...especially if Shion's own tribe(people) kept themselves isolated from others. And depending on when Shion and Dohko were sent to Sanctuary to be saints. Dohko also seems to be a fairly open minded person himself. ~_^

Yeah, let's not talk about politics.. The two saints always made a good pairing, no doubt about it. And the composition is very pretty
