Finally done!!! It's already 4 am here!!!And... yeah! Wilykat and Wilykit from Thundercats!!! They're so cute. I can't resist drawing them! (Though at first, I though they're both boy =w=")

This show premiered in my country yesterday. Never saw the old show, but I really enjoyed the premiere... and I have also found my favorite characters (thus far) so I have to fave the first well-made picture of them!

I think they did a really nice job with the reboot, even if these guys's outfits took a turn down jRPG Avenue. Nice work with the art!

They have met the fish people, the Petalars, the Elephants, and the Berbils, and some paper-mage people who use paper to fight while in the forest.
There was also a Drifter character who was a blacksmith who helps Lion-O get his sword back from an evil swordsman.

The new look for the thunderkittens caught me off guard. And the first thing to pop into mind was "OMG! Thundersquirrels!"

Sorry....I think the new look is pretty cute and such....but I'm so used to the older look. WilyKit and Kat were always my favs growing up. But there is just so much different in the remake it makes my head spin. Makes me almost tempted to call it a new series vs a remake. XP

Yea I watched it some too...but to me when there is a remake I just consider it an AU verse. Like it's Lion-O's other half in a twisted upside down world. XD

i have just watched the episodes that were out on youtube so far of the new remade anime <3 Im not really sure now if it is a cartoon or anime o_O they seriously are adorable <3 I must say I loved the episode with the pettlars alot

I think it's OK to call it both cartoon and anime. I don't mind the word much 'cause no matter what you call it, it's still the same story.
The remake is totally different from the old one (which I have watched only a little) and gives us different feeling. The episode with the petalars is really touched and deep. And I think the story and theme of that episode seems like Japanese anime than the western (reminds me of Ghibli's anime as well)

For now, there are 8 episodes released. The next episode will be released by the end of this month and I'm looking forward to it.

Thank you. I'm glad you like the background. Since I'm not good in drawing background, I just make it this way... I see it from some of my friend's works and think it looks good and easy to do, so I try to make it myself.
