Waha! This picture was really hard for me! I have such a hide complex, i find myself intimidated by his greatness and then it's nearly impossible to draw him! But this came out ok, even though i continue to kick myself for butchering him so badly! But it came out ok.....
! I love hide! Again, curse of the fuzzy reference picture! oh the humanity! I decided to submit this to ! because I can! bwahahahahahahaha! I hope i do it correctly! i'm new to this!

Wow... I love how you did this portrait. I loveh ow you did the lips, but i haaate how you did the hair. The portrait is just amazing... there are really heavy darks, really light lights, and it looks very realistic and very emotional too, but the hair... aww, I don't think it does it justice. I mean, granted I really can't do any better, but I'm sure working at it would really greatly enhance the portrait. Right now it looks a bit flat, and there's not much space receding back into his head. I don't think it's a major error - it cant just be fixed by adding some shading, drawing in a few strands, and the reflections just form naturally. You should try it out.
