I told myself that I wasn't going to do this...........but I did anyways.I understand that there is an odd personality change with Reginald and Alice here. [shouldn't Reg be the peppy one singing an uplifting song of sorts?] But I was so temped to make Reg the unhappy/grumpy one
I've played the CRAP outta this song [By the Sea] from Sweeney Todd, and thought...."hmm....Mister T.???"

I've been listening to the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Sweeney Todd starring Angela Lansbury as Mrs. Lovett. And, I have to admit, the videos of the 1982 revival of her singing this song don't do it justice. Although, I do like Carter's version too. She has such a sweet voice. Plus, the cinematography for this song is beautiful (and hilarious) in the Burton film.
