Perhaps adjust it so the blacks are slightly darker, or burn in the background in photoshop. Just a personal suggestion.

Thanks for the suggestion, I have adjusted the contrast a bit, although i thought that it looked washed out with his pale skin. It also made his right eye look fairly...freaky.
