Painting by Cathy Corbett of Magical Faces-sorry if the colour seems a bit off, I cant figure it out myself. The lipstick and background are both bright red, almost pink.

No don't be sorry for the colors. They are amazing! I've been browsing through tens and tens and ten more of tens of pages lately, this is easily one of the best portraits I've seen all year.
Can you please take a little time and tell me how you made her skin like that, is it photoshop or make up?
And all that glitter is put on her very systematically nice, it creates perfect harmony in the picture. Did you glue it on her or what?
Only one thing I would critisize here:
The picture has really sharp contrasts between different reds and lighter warmer colors. With such sharp contrast, it is important to have sharp details - just like you have between her lips and skin, her eyes, her hair, the jewelry.
This brings me to the conclusion that her sideburns.. or hair infront of the ears are too rough and wild. I wish you would take some water and coam it behind her ears, and remove these disturbing hairsplitsl. Flatten it a bit, and color it more like the rest of her hair, to make it all more complete. This is my constructive advice.

Thanks! I'm flattered that you like it the picture so much. The skin is actually painted with body paint, Cathy Corbett of Magical faces painted her as well as glued the iridiscent flakes and the silver balls. I smoothed the paint on her skin with photoshop. But it was very white to begin with.
I can see now that I'll be spending some time smoothing her hair in photoshop tonight
