Just.. wow. There's so much I want to say about this one, but God I just can't put it all down. Truly an epic one.

That I could create such a reaction with a simple a piece as this makes me feel like I'm heading the right direction with my art.
I just hope I can get a better program to work with and take things further.. not to mention some technique. -_-

Well two things I can point out are the anatomy and coloring. You hit the nail on the head with those two things.
I rather like your style honestly, and I'm sure whatever technique you're using now is great considering what I see in your gallery. Every artist will say there's room for improvement, and I think in all artforms one can never reach their peak. So keep just don't give up on it and keep working is the best advice I would give.

I think the hair is way blockier than I wanted it to be (trapped by the tiny lineart I suppose), but I'm pretty proud of the way I handled that.. vest.. thingie..
