Description I tried a new technique with this. I made a very basic 3d setup and painted over it. I'm reasonably satisfied but I think I could have gotten something better out of this. Critics are welcome!

This is wonderful! There's two things that I really like in this one. First I will just say it's good to see you "back in action". And second is how beautiful the tree and the leaves are. The contrast is pretty big but still nice and elegant.

Only critique I have is that the sea is maybe a little bit flat. It's background but it could have a little of those same kind of lovely shapes that are in the tree. Also the line between sea and land is in one point bit unclear.

Still if I would see this on a wall of a gallery and I had money I would for sure buy this very peaceful and beautiful piece of art!

I really find myself liking this. It's such a pretty, peaceful setting. That tree is gorgeous, it looks almost like it really exists somewhere.

As far as critique goes, maybe where the distant background meets the foreground there could have been a greater contrast of dark and light. The rocks maybe also could have used a little more plants life emerging through the crevices.
