Description
Visual made for the leader of the International film festival Breda.This was a still made for one of the concepts. Sad enough, it did not get chosen.
I made the bird in Maya 2010
The bin was a foto, all the plants and creatures where made by using paper crops.

This is gorgeous, I love the shading and how much everything stands out against the dark background.

OK I really like it, using different words love it , but you said that the animals and plants were made using paper crops ? you scanned, placed them and after played with theirs perspective or maybe something much more complex?

The festival director told me the concepts storyboard and the visual was amazing but it wasn't the thing they were looking for. They did say. If i made an animation of this They definitely show this at the festival.
So I might make this animation some day.

This is a really great concept! Love the lighting, and the way the paper bird seems to break away from the trash bin... expecially how the discarded pieces of paper seem to be twisting into branches and other birds/dragonflies... a whole "new from the old" kind of approach.

The festival director was looking for something with a handmade look. It had to be something like Digital world made into crafts. The concept that was chosen was about Social media made out of post-its. This concept was a bit to cinematic and magical.
