My sister made the mask and the tutorial.I'm helping to promote her because she is wanting to sell replicas of
the mask. It's at a reasonable price at $35.00. This includes shipping
and handling costs.

Can you use layers of acrylic paint in place of the plaster? The plaster does make the white color, correct?

The plaster does make the white color. The plaster is what will hold it together and make for a sturdier mask.Β

Can I use this to make an Eyeless Jack mask? My friend is throwing a cosplay party and you have to go in costume, so I figured I should do something I could put off for a while XD

the tutorial you can be done in about 2-3 days if you worked consistantly on it.Β

How sturdy is the mask? Because I am very interested in purchasing one.

The mask is pretty sturdy. They are hand made with mesh
and paper mache. A little heavy, but suitable. The straps are
made of leather. I have used mine a couple of times already.

It depends on the thickness of your paste. I usually do about 3 or 4 layers.Β

I'm in the process of making one out of paper mache using a wire structure in the center. First time making a paper mache thing.

The mask came out pretty good! I used some acrylic paint to cover up the newspaper. Only thing was I couldn't cover up the lines the newspaper made completely, but it turned out really nicely anyway!

I try to make a Lord Death mask from soul eater and didnt came out like I wanted to be. Maybe using your steps I could try again
