Proxy is a nightclub singer Auto-frame, down on her luck and trying to make it big. In desperate need for money she becomes an exotic dancer to pay the bills. Just before her first show, there is a terrorist attack, and axle ends up saving her from harm. They part ways, but she always seems to end up in the middle of dangerous situations, and Axle ends up saving her, until they become well acquainted and eventually even roommates (after her apartment gets blown up).
