Well, this is my final entry for the Battle Artist tournament. I wanted to addd some kind of background, but iΒ΄m new with photoshop and didnt know how to add it. Anyway, i love the way she comes, compared with the original pencils([link] ). Hope you like it!!!Related content

So the steampunk part are the goggles around her neck? I would have suggested them adding them on her head and maybe something more victorian style of clothing, but hey I can't argue the colors. Fantastic work all around.

Thanks!!! Yeah, i know itΒ΄s not a lot steampunk, i only used some concepts about the theme and didnt want to make a really detailed outfitt because i didnt had much experience with coloring.

the original pencils are real nice too, but agree the colors really add something to the finished piece. Great job, nice recreation of Psylocke! another fine entry!
I always like seeing roughs or pencils, its cool seeing how the art evolves and in progress stages, so its nice you guys are adding those links with your finished pieces.

That is true, seeing the progress of a piece is really interesting, because you actually can see how the artist proceed with it. Some artists add inks and then the color, others know a lot off color and start coloring rough pieces. In my case, i mlike to make my pencil pieces very deatailed with shadows an clean lines, and then color them, cause i dont have the patience for inking.

I agree that adding these WIP shots is a good way to help other people on the group improve, or consider how to evolve or tinker with their own styles.

Thanks for taking the time to add so much about your process....sure it will be helpful to others, you did a great job coloring the lines for sure.
