This was the second round of my Jigsaw Map Game idea. The reason this is getting posted first is because it's the first round to finish. Thanks to everyone who participated!hgfggg : South America
Along the eastern coast of Maumuvu- going South to North
Maumuvu managed to maintain a large amount of native nations, due to the fact that those nations were strong and well-defined. Only a few areas in Maumuvu remain non-nations, with loyalty solely to a king, and most of these exist in the Uvpe region, in the far south. Most of these are protectorates of Avoba, the nation- best described as a constitutional monarchy combined with a federation- centered around the Firana-Uru river basin.
One of them is fairly large, the country of Mobru, and it is one of the primary members of the Avoba Alliance. Avoba, the largest southern nation, maintained an almost-feudal system for most of its existence, and that remains in the confederal system it's established with the tiny countries to the south. Most of the eastern coast is part of the same Avo-Tofi culture group, stretching far to the north. It is strong enough that it claims the mantle of "Land of the Avo", and it is the strongest member of the Avoba Alliance. The Avoba Alliance controls lands outside of the Avo-Tofi culture group purely because the southern Vuto mountain peoples, unlike their northern cousins, did not build mountain fortresses and found it hard to unify.
To the north of Avoba is the secondary colonized coast of Maumuvu- small nations founded by the nations to the east are common here. These primarily grow crops, like sugarcane and tabacco, and send them to their parent nations.

"The Babylonian Empire is the governing power of the Land of the Rivers; the central region containing its grand capital, Babylon, and the Subartu, Akkad, Sumer and Awan provinces. The Empire's hold over its lower-provinces in the Mot Desert to the south is modest at best, partly due to the uninhabitable nature of the Southern Peninsula. It is more or less a confederation of city-states united by common religious practices and economic affiliation. It is an ancient system- one of the oldest continuous nations in the world at that- yet it is rigid and unable to adapt. Many believe that this will be its downfall, sooner rather than later. Provincial governors are growing upset with the increasingly callous King in Babylon, who is diverting the entirety of the Empire's taxes into building a series of gargantuan hanging gardens in the name of the Great Goddess.
To the east, the young Median Nation is militant and eager to expand its borders. Its system could be described as a theocratic meritocracy, in which economic and intellectual advancement are sacrificed in the name of bureaucratic military expansionism. A pantheon of 'natural gods', one for each physical attribute (e.g. stamina, strength, agility), is the basis of the Medians' religious system. Border raids are quite common, which have made the Medians quite unpopular among their neighbors.
The northern steppes are inhabited by roving bands of pastoral clans and isolated village-states, allied against foreign aggression when necessary and quite unwelcoming to outsiders. The region is far too sparse and harsh to support any long-lasting political union. Phoenician colonies in former Israel, Judah and Philistine, meanwhile, are open to the Mediterranean as grand port cities rivaling the beauty of Babylon. There is said to be a Mausoleum at Halicarnassus crafted entirely from gold, but the sight is closed off from most commoners for religious reasons and therefore remains a mystery to any wishing to validate these claims."

The islands of Nanfang have been ruled by trading kingdoms for time immemorial but with strong cultural influences from the realms of Tianxia and Bharat. Until recently, the kingdoms of Tianxia and Bharat have taken relatively little interest in the lands of Nanfang but the need to consolidate control over the trade routes of Nanfang have led to the empires of Tianxia and Bharat developing a major interest in Nanfang's lands.
The Empire of Tianxia conquered the eastern half of the main continent of Aozhou, who's inhabitants were primitive hunter-gatherers and proceeded to turn their area of Aozhou into a giant penal colony as the island of Meili got too overcrowded and the Renmin Yihui and the Jade Emperor wanted Tianxia to gain prestige. Not seeking to be overshadowed, Yeopo also conquered areas of Nanfang but only got the uninhabited islands off the continent of Nanfang which Yeopo's government turned into a giant prison, but this time, they used it to imprison those who dared question the authority of the Emperor in Pyongyang.
Meanwhile, the trading kingdoms of Nanfang became a battleground as each of the three empires in the region supported competing factions with the Empire of Yeopo and their allies in the Kingdom of Vung Giang supporting the Kingdom of Teluli, which has a grudge against the Empire of Tianxia due to the Tianxia-Teluli war which led to the Teluli surrendering control over the northern part of the country, which contained a large Tianxian population. Magadha, seeking to have some foothold in Nanfang, took over the Kingdom of Ponrang and formed an alliance with Belong. Tianxia then allied itself with Dukulu and allowed it to have the western half of Aozhou as well.
HeliosMegistos : Africa
The Empire of Great Kemet stretches like a giant serpent across the north and north east of the continent of Naqada. Is is ruled from the ancient city of Memphis located at the mouth of the Nile delta by the the Pharaoh's of the of the 31st dynasty.
Kemet is divided into a number of provinces including the ancestral lands of Lower and Upper Egypt, the conquered lands of Kush which are divided into the Vizierates of Upper, Middle and Lower Kush, and the colonized lands of East and West Libu and the former realm of Numidia which is also organized into four Vizierates.
The Vizierates are each administrated and run by a Vizier appointed directly by the Pharaoh who grants them their a wide range of powers and privileges in return for their unquestioned loyalty and obedience. Viziers who get to big for their britches or worse start thing of breaking away from Kemet and declaring themselves Pharaohs in their own right tend to live very short lives, for the Pharaoh employs a vast network of far flung spy's and assassins across his vast domain.
The Libu and the heartland of Kemet are ruled by the Pharaohs directly and are considered their personal demesne although in practice they rent out much of this land to local strongmen and nobles who are known as Nomarchs. Some Nomarchs are appointed directly by the Pharaoh while others have a degree of hereditary title and as a result a nomarchy might pass through multiple generations of the same family until it either dies out or they ensure the Pharaohs disfavour.
Kemet was once a major colonial power and ruled many of the lands in or surrounding the Wadj Wer (the Mediterranean) although it has since lost control of the majority of these possessions during the chaos and civil war that lead to the collapse of the 30th dynasty and the rise of the current 31st. Despite these losses it's the country is known to flex it's military and political muscle with some regularity and many nations are compelled to pay tribute to Great Kemet least they risk the Pharaohs displeasure and the potential consequences that might follow.
Kemet is an economic giant due to it's control of trade passing through the from the Wadj Wer and the Red Sea via the Hutwaret Canal, as well as the gold mines of Kush and the Eastern Mountains. It was one of the first nations to establish and mint a coinage as the limits of the country's early barter system became increasingly inefficient and restrictive as time went on.
Through out it's long history the power of the Pharaoh's has waxed and waned repeatedly. At times the Pharaoh's have been little more then a figure head whose authority is only theoretical outside the walls of Memphis, at other times the Pharaoh's have had authority but have been forced to delegate and share it with the Nomarchs resulting in a very feudal like system. Most of the time however the position of Pharaoh has been that of a semi-divine figure, a literal god-king, and thus the Kemetic government can often be described as a totalitarian theocratic monarchy.
Beyond it's great wealth Kemet is known for it's many religious cults, great temples and mortuary sites. In ages past the Pharaohs constructed colossal monuments of stone called Pyramids that served as a combination of resting place for previous rulers and shrines in the service of their ruler cults/cults of personality. Over time the continued construction of these monument proved to be economically ruinous in the long run and as such present day Kemet mostly makes do with vast temple complexes such as the one at Luxor or the great water temple of Sobek-Re.
The chief god of Kemet is Sobek-Re the solar crocodile. Produced from the fusion of the cults of the falcon headed sun god Re and Sobek the crocodile headed god of the nile, the cult of Sobek-Re has been in place for several several centuries at was put into place by the 29th dynasty following the Fourth Interregnum. Sobek-Re is worshiped as God of the Sun and light, the Nile and life, strength and military might, fertility and crocodiles and is considered the creator god who is said to rule in all parts of the created world: the sky, the earth, the underworld and especially the waters. His consort is the goddess Taweret who is depicted with the head of a Hippopotamus and is worshiped as a goddess of fertility and childbirth, rain and moisture, marriage and love.
The priesthood is largely hereditary but it's power is tied to that of the Pharaoh due to his status as the son and earthly representative of Sobek-Re although this does not prevent occasional clashes and disputes between the Pharaoh and the various high priest of the many religious cults in the country.
The current Pharaoh is Sobekhotep XVII who is the 14th ruler of the 31st dynasty, he is a middle aged man of great ambition who desires to see Kemet reclaim it's former colonial holdings across the sea or failing to carve one out of Western Naqada where his grandfather established a number of trading colonies along the coast.
Western Naqada has been in and out of contact with Great Kemet for centuries as it's strength has waxed and waned and dynasties have risen and fallen. This contact has generally been by sea in the form of trading ships but can also take the form of merchant trade convoys who are brave enough to risk the Saharan trade routes.
Kemet has established several trade colonies in the area that have grown to outright annex land in their immediate surroundings. A number of small states have become Kemetic tributaries via a variety of methods and are currently paying the Pharaoh a great deal of tribute to protect them from the growing strength of the Kingdom of Mossinghai to their north.
Mossinghai has grown over the last few decades by conquering everything in it's path and is currently embroiled in a war with the Oyo Confederation to it's south east. The Mossinghai have been heavily influenced by the culture and religion of Kemet over the centuries and now follow a syncretic faith that mixes elements of the regions tradition faiths and customs with the monotheistic worship of Sobek-Re.
Their interpretation of Sobek-Re is even harsher and more demanding then that of Kemet, as a result he is seen as a jealous god with a long memory and a cruel and vindictive streak. It is in his name that they have undergone their expansion as he will not suffer any rival gods to live.
Further south towards the great forested center of Naqada their lies the decaying Empire of Lunda. Once a great power, Lunda's strength has been sapped by a series of civil wars over an unsecured succession. The current queen has very little power and many within the realm are increasingly rebelling against her authority while it's vassle states are in the process of rebelling outright. With the empires economy in ruins due to the previous civil wars it's future looks bleak.
Lunda was highly influnced by the much stronger culture of Great Kemet during it's heyday and while it has mostly retained it's culture and religion is it not uncommon to find shrines and temples to Kemetic deities within the kingdom or trading outpost on the cost run by Kemetic expats and merchants who bring their goods from further north.
One particular aspect of Kemetic civilization that Lunda picked up was the construction of colossal monuments and temples modeled the great pyramids and other Kemetic constructions. They have continued building these well after Kemet itself ceased constructing them due to their enormous cost.
To the east on the Horn of Naqada is the the League of Punt. The Puntish people have been occasional tributaties of Great Kemet in centuries long past and have long been under varying levels of cultural influence from them and the Babylonians. The League is a major trading block and many ships on their way from the Median Gulf and Baharat come it many ports to trade and unload their wears before continuing their journy's up the Red Sea and through the Canal to trade in Kemet proper.
The Puntish fleet is very large and runs a number of patrols in the near by waters and along the trade routes in the Bharat Ocean to ensure the trade proceeds smoothly and without interruption by pirates and raiders. The trade must flow.
To the east of Punt are the two Kushitic kingdoms of Damot and Welayta. Of the two Welayta is the strongest and most powerful and it's monarch has plans to conquer Damot to the north and establish a unified Kushitic realm for the first time in history. His ambitions have not gone unnoticed by Kemet or the League who are keeping close eyes on the region due to their shared interest in preventing the rise of a powerful rival and threat to their power and interest.
South of the League is the realm of Maravi. Maravi is the regions dominant power and has been waging a series of wars with it's neighbors to the east and south for the last few decades.
It is a totalitarian theocracy ruled the college of the highest ranking priest in the realm. It has been considerably influenced by trades, merchants and missionaries from Bharat and Babylon.
It's major deities are very warlike and the Maravi people are extremely pious and their warriors are known for their great religious zeal. Thanks to technology they have acquired from across the sea their armies are even more potent then they once were and even the petty kingdoms on the island realm of Betsimisaraka to the south are beginning to fear they may fall to it's military might.
Void-Wolf : Eastern Asia
The Eastern Land is also known as the land of the Three Empires. The intense rivalry between the Tianxia of the Zheng Dynasty and the Bharat of the Empire of Magadha has dominated the land, but things have become offset with the rise of Yeopo.
Tianxia of the Zheng Dynasty- An empire ruled by the Zheng clan, their capital lies in the more northern province and is one of the oldest civilizations known. The dominant power of the land, they initially spent their time repelling the invading "barbarians." All while the royals live in their Forbidden City, their beloved capital. After the First Emperor brought stability and peace to the land, they began heading downward. They began taking and colonizing whatever land they could while some minor civilizations put enough of a fight that they became vassals to Tianxia. Worshipping the Jade Emperor and following the Mandate of Heaven, everything is cultured and ordered in the domain of Tianxia. In fact, with Magadha focusing out on West, it would seem Tianxia would be able to expand and grow in peace... but the new Emperor in Pyongyang decided that he wanted to expand too...
The Magadha Empire of Bharat- Another cultured power, they are just as old as Tianxia is, but have been on the rise as of late. Magadha was just one of sixteen powerful kingdoms in the domain of Bharat. However, under a charismatic and intelligent ruler, they began conquering and annexing their neighboring kingdoms to become a powerful empire. With a restructured ad somewhat looser caste system, they certainly provided more freedom than that of Tianxia. New kingdoms appeared where old ones have fallen, but they were made into vassals and at last, all of Bharat was under the rule of the Magadha, either as part of the homeland or a vassal. As they expanded east, they ran into several strong conflicts between them and the Zheng for control of the rich lands down below, expanding out into the southern seas, creating their own colonies and allies. Recently, they have bene putting their conflict with the Zheng on hold to deal with their imperial neighbors out west. Under the rule of a king, there are also various councils made of smaller nobles to decide on laws and a caste system helps ensure everyone has a place in the system.
Empire of Yeopo- The new power on the block. After the unification of Yeopo, there was an aggressive need to expand outwardly by the new Emperor. This was done by hiring many bands of the 'barbarians' that gave the Zheng Dynasty trouble in the past to teach their troops or to join them. This resulted in a strong military and as the Yeopo expanded outwardly, they colonized some nomadic regions or gained the loyalty of other tribes to become their vassal states. Furthermore, this helped shaped Yeopo into a more meritcratic empire, where promotions and status was granted on accomplishes. Initially based on the battlefield, thinkers and traders have also become more important thanks to their success contributing to the growth of their empire. Their largest success came in the islands out in the East. Initially quite difficult to conquer, the Yeopo borrowed a tactic from their barbarian allies and tossed corpses of people fell by disease. This crushed resistance and the remaining groups swore loyalty to the Emperor in Pyongyang inorder to get basic needs. Recently, Yeopo began putting more and more funds into exploration by the sea, having established a collection of colonies out in the far north and down to the south. They began heading futher east, even reaching supposedly a massive new land...
Beyond the Three Great Empires, there are various nomadic tribes, groups and bands that spend their time fighting or merely trying to live day to day life. However, there are larger groups and becoming smarter. Some wonder what would happen if one would to rise and unite all of them under one banner...
@metalheadjohn: North America
The Western Continent was mostly inhabited by Primitives who were constantly fighting, and by the time the outsiders arrived, the natives were just entering their bronze age.
Colonies: Tianxia and Yeopo both were able to colonize the Western Continent, However Yeopo mainly focused on the North while Tianxia focused on the South. At first, Pyongyang was initially displeased with the areas they found up north, but they would eventually be satisfied by the Vast amount of Resources that the Icebox of the North really held. Tianxia focused on the south and was able to find gold in their territories, attracting many from the mainland. Currently, Tianxia is trying to build a canal in their southernmost region of the colony so that their ships may explore the other ocean.
Imperial state of Valhalla: very few outsiders know much about the Valhallans, except that they were once a colony of another power across the sea that declared independence. The New Empire crowned a war hero as their emperor, and this emperor believed that Valhalla must expand and become a great power to defend itself. Valhalla is basically a mega-sparta. All are expected to serve in the military at some point in their lives and Women are expected to have Children, alot of them. Keeping the Imperial State Running are the Serfs, who toil away in Factories and Farms until they have reached an age where they cannot work, and they are allowed to retire. Originally, the Emperor wanted to control the rich soil of the south, but someone else already was there...
Dominion of Aldra: Unlike Valhalla, the Dominion has inhabited the Western Continent for a much longer time. Thriving off of the Rich soil and the Azure Isles to the south, Aldra is a rich society, but one with equality problems. The Upper classes spend much of their times in the city skylines talking politics and business while the lower classes spend their time fighting or gambling down below. However, the new Dominutor plans to change things very soon, although he has had some trouble with having border skirmishes with the northern neighbor.
The Blue Island: The Blue Island (named because of the blue tide associated with it) is a colony owned by the original colonizer of the Valhallans. No other data.
CHIPMUNKEN : Europe
The Phoenicians, Babylonians, Kemet, and the Medians have European territory.
Two major European states used to exist - Nordland (run from Norway) and Etruria. They were advanced states and staunch rivals. However, they fought a war with biological and chemical weapons 54 years ago, which caused the collapse of both states.
A rump Nordland is governed from Blue Island in North America. It also controls the Azores. The royal family is there. A military government took control of the capital in OTL Norway and runs a paranoid dictatorship from bunkers underneath the mountains there.
A rump Etruria also exists.
The borders of both former empires immediately pre-war are shown. A state has arisen in Frisia.
The *Irish conquered Nordic *Ulster after the war while the Germanics in *Poland and alt-Avars also took land from both states. The Phoenicians and Kemetis carved out puppet states.
Kemeti Iberia is in turmoil as the current governor has dreams of secession. The north, which is Celtic, is revolting.
The relatively uncontrolled land stretches into the former Nordic empire. Former Nordic assault rifles are found from the Baltic to the Bohai.

You'd think Abyssinia or Ethiopia would be a larger power on the world stage or be be physically larger on the map given their historical relevance and importance to human history.
