Description
Originally posted December 14, 2010.- Nazi loyalists continue to lose ground as rebels fight them for resources or surrender/fight with the Entente. Hitler, fearing for his life and growing ever more paranoid, locks himself in the Führerbunker with his closest confidants. A notable exception is Heinrich Himmler, who has decided to stay on the surface. Nazi forces are ordered to retreat to the A-A Line and hold out against any Entente advances.
- The Wehrmacht is officially put under the purview of the SS. Although some in the Wehrmacht decide to join the rebellion because of this, most commanders left obeying the Nazis are ardent Party loyalists, and have no problem serving under the SS.
- The Nazis lose almost all control of the Middle East, but the Balkan and Caucasian oil fields (the most developed in Nazi-occupied Eurasia) are still under Nazi control.
- The Wehrmacht rebellion reignites many of the squashed rebellions in occupied Europe. Some of the fighting is especially chaotic, with some areas such as Warsaw and Paris having at least four different groups all vying for power and indiscriminately attacking one another.
- Defecting Wehrmacht are shipped to Imperial Germany to be in their countrymen's company. The Entente reasons that the Germans would be more willing to cooperate with the Reich.
- The Entente retakes the British Isles. Multiple plans for an invasion of continental Europe are drawn up, but the Entente know that hastily invading would result in failure.
