Well my friend dragon ball is anime/manga (manga is like a comic book for japan) from japan and it has a huge selection of fans from the around the world
some people love some people don't but hey its ok because its all you opinion but i'm getting off track the series was created by Akira Toriyama but the manga
didn't get popluar until the first airing in tv until 1986 the series stars a boy named Goku with a monkey tail after his done fishing he met the daughter of the
capsule cooperation (or Capsule coop for short) named bluma together they an adventure to find the seven dragon balls seven balls when gather can summon
the wish grant dragon shenron for one wish (later on in the second series he can do two wish's) they meet friends that were once enemies like yamcha a bandit
with talking/transforming cat plurr, a pig that can also transform name oolong, goku's pervert master muten roshi, fighters from the crane school a
tricyclops name tien and his friend chiaotzu,the x king and his daughter chi chi(Who will later on bt goku's wife) and goku's best friend krillin but unfortunately
since goku lived most his life in the forest he doesn't have great city skills and the only way he can tell a gender is by hitting their crouch anywho they also met
powerful enemies as well like the red ribbon army, emperor pilaf and his crew, as well the demon king piccolo we also discover that goku when ever he see's a
full moon can turn into a giant great ape that shoot lasers out his mouth after a brutally fight with piccolo goku had defeated the monster and after some
training from a cat name korin who a bean known as a senzu beans it has the ability to heal any wound and restore stamina goku finds the lookout tower and
where he trains with mr popo and kami the guardian of earth and the creator of the dragon ball who looks like another piccolo (we find out that piccolo and kami
are aliens form another planet named namekians from the planet namek) he trains in the hyperbolic time chamber ( in the hyperbolic time chamber 1 day can
equal 1 year in the chamber and your body well age in the time chamber) goku spent 5 years in the chamber and enter in a martial arts tournament where he
finds out that the demon king piccolo had a son named piccolo junior (later on he gets turn to the good side and sticks with name piccolo) both of them fought
and goku had win again and was declared the strongest in the world later he would marry chi chi and have kid name gohan after goku grandpa. after you see this i'll explain the other series like dragon ball z, dragon ball gt(gt=grand tour p.s non cannon but people like for other reasons) and most recently ended and getting a movie Dragon ball super.
