each time i pick it up, i find myself liking it more and more. kirby's DC stuff (well pretty much all his stuff) is fantastic. however, when left to his own devices, through Kamandi and later his Fourth World series, a strange and wonder-filled universe is created where the only certainties are good guys are good guys and bad guys are bad guys. aside from that, heck, cyclo-hearts and boom tubes, rat-men and jimmy olsen, all is fair play. he loved comics, plain and simple, and dedicated his life to convey his love. his comics became less about the particulars and more about playing with the medium joyfully. he didn't use comics as a means of expression, he married it and made children with it.

Don't stop!! I can't hear enough about Kirby btw your description of his work deserves to be at the introduction to one of his comics

I would do it quick, they seem to be reprinting alot of Kirby stuff recently (not a bad thing at all.)
