Not exacly zone copper.. I mean, yes and no- they both work for theΒ Schnee's military-zoneΒ (not confirmed name)! If you going to see the Atlas soldiers in RWBY, they have a similar suit of Sonic, but Shadow got another role-- like, he is the bodyguard of the comander.. Weiss xd

I designed them based of their work during their adult's life xd
Sonic have a suit of the soldiers of the Schnee's military-zone (not confirmed name), lead by the captain Weiss.. he have an important role, she gave him the role of the major. Ruby- Ruby well.. she is a freelancer huntress, so.. I based her outfit from her previous in the series!
