Description
Grasping her dying body, he howls in sorrow of the death awaiting. Only slaying down the hunter that shot her, is the only thing that will ease his growing rage on the humans.My main character, Ravage, clutching his only packmate soon to be dearly departed. Soon he will now only bloodlust and will show no signs of sympathy.
The painting started out good, but started to get crappy at the end, (and I still suck at backgrounds) Note this is the full size version, and such a low res.... I might consider painting this over w/ at a higher res, and w/ a photo ref backround.

Although I agree that background needs a better substitution, but at least it is needed to differ the white feather of hers. And you succeeded to add dramatical air by filling his tears nicely. This is really an unusual piece of you, which is very touching.

Just showing my werewolfy's do have those soft, touchy emotional feelings.
Reminds me once I read how a pack of wolves reacted after a packmate was killed by a cougar. The pack was realtivly hurt by the loss, and kept quiet for days.
