Well I said I wanted to do Amber's wings, so here they are! I tried a new style too, and I think I like it. (leaving the sketch underneath and making it transparent.) I'm going to use this style for all the Wings CG art from now on.I'm surprised, I only started this today. That's fast by my standards.
Amber telling someone to get the heck away from her before they become literal toast.

OOh. nice. it's visually appealing from the start, and I love the way you did the flames. there's just one thing that bothers me...the shading on Amber herself doesn't makes sense, cause of the flames.

Might be a good idea to run far away. She doesn't look like she's trying to do that, with the look on her face.
The fire does look great with the cell shading. The only other way I know of to do flames is with some smudging and liquify, though I don't know much about photoshop yet.

i love the fire and the red smoke. i dont think theres enough brightness on amber though. with all that fire surrounding her, there should be more heavy shading on her

Hmm, heavy shading is something I have to practise. I didn't want to make her too bright, then the colour would be lost. Thanks for the crit, though.

The background was really just me swirling the paintbrush around and then filling it in. It turned out kinda looking like smoke, so that was lucky. Thanks.
