Macromedia Flash...not only is it good for making kickarse animations, it also can be used to produce digital comic books! Here's the first (short) ephisode in my Flash comic series "My Life As A Loaded Eclipse", about Tarquin, a tetchy little Samoyed goth who's actually a lot nicer than he seems. About the title...Tarquin has the potential to make life hell for everyone in his town, but he doesn't, which makes him a loaded eclipse (ready to block out the sun, just not doing it).I'll be working on more, and this one's a little bit boring, but the series needs an introduction.
Please don't distribute this comic. If you want to show it to someone, direct them here. If you want it on your site or something, please ask me first. I'll probably let you do it, but I'll want to know. Thanks.

Well it all starts with anthro wild dogs of different species...who build civillisation and become "domestic" then inter-breed to create muties. Viola!

It's more to do with the fact that the community is so small and insular. The little group of friends kinda stands up on each other.
Tarquin has the potential to be real little bitch. If he wanted to, he could be so gloomy as to put everybody in the town into a state of depression. You know...when you have a really emo friend and you hang around them a long time and it rubs off on you?
He'd stop beating up on Justin, who'd get stroppy and that would cause him to act violently towards Oatis, who would think Justin hates him and would probably commit suicide, casting that big dark after-death-in-a-small-community cloud over everyone. There's plenty of scenarios.
Basically, everybody in the town has such eccentric mentalities that it only takes one of them to set something off, and Tarquin is the goth.

i mostly like gothic clothing and style and weapons, but not heavy...stereotypical goths...ugh...
and i decided 2 days ago that my fursona is going to be a doberman, so i always laugh whenever i see a doberman.

I read a lot about self realization, this central character is you, obviously, im guessin u work in a supermarket or some similar role, your 17, you live with your parents im guessing but WANT to live alone, your friends say they are maschosists but they proberly have there own issues and need something to represent themselves, a title, goth, maschosist, etc. I presume althought u might not, u have a friend with a coffee problem, your 17 so again im guessing there around the same age, and a caffeine problem is possible, its proberly just his favourite drink, ive met a lot of addicts unfortunately, and none of them brag about it. The anxiety is possibly true, although the depression is simply teenage angst.
This all one big assumption, if NONE of this is true then u have a big imagination and i really like it

WROOOOONG!! Tarquin is not me, in fact, he is more closely based off all the faux-goth friends I've known. I have no masochistic friends, but I think masochists are hilarious, I don't have any friends with coffee problems, but thought it would be funny to add a caffiene addict into this series I am 17, but I don't have a job yet, and I have never, ever been angstyly depressed before.
I have a big imagination. It gets me in trouble with people who have their heads jammed too far into reality, so I forget things all the time and I'm clumsy, but only because I'm always daydreaming.

Tarquin is like...THE goth in the town of smiley. If he wasn't such a nice guy, he'd make life hell for everyone else, therefore, he is a loaded eclipse, just waiting to discharge and cover the sun (i.e. ruin the day for all.)
Other than that, I simply couldn't think of a better title. And I'm not changing it now.

wow, that is oddly similar to my story. very oddly similar.
in my novel, birds never evolved into anthropomorphic creatures too. they remain a symbol of peace of mind and freedom in my main character's eyes. i have yet to post the chapter where that's stated so don't try looking for it.
