This is something I colored a couple of months ago just for fun. I wish I could go back in and pull back the texture on the background, but unfortunately I accidentally flattened the layers in Photoshop. Oh well, I still like how Megatron turned out.Linerart by Robby Musso

can i ask how you begin to draw something like this?
does it start with a scribble sketch to get the pose then build up from there?
as i say just starting out so be cool to know. Do you have any early sketch work available?

I actually just colored this one. The lineart was done by Robby Musso, an amazing Transformers artist and great guy to boot. He can draw Transformers like this in his sleep. Click on the REX-203 icon to see more of his awesome work.
In my own work I usually start with a gesture or silhouette, then block out forms and then go in to more detail, whether mechanical or anatomical. I'll try to find some more sketch work to post.

ah ok thats cool its still fantastic i ll defiantely check it out
ah i see yeah thats kinda what i ve been doing usually mine just nothingless scribbles which i try to build into something
im still finding my style but its wierd never had a lesson or anything im not great at the moment but improving all the time
if you could post some sketch work defiantely be interested in having a look at that thanks
