This is completely badass, definitely a cool concept design for a monster, definitely looks like some type of alien-bug type monster, was that what you were going for? Definitely love how the monster's face is the only thing that you see, while the body kind of fades away, with less and less detail, excellent use of chiaroscuro. As always, the crosshatching and lifework is impeccable, one of the many things I love about your work. Also, very nice expression on the guy's face, it is priceless. Nice splatter effect for the blood, you always manage to make me chuckle a bit when I see you draw blood, guts, and gore, because you always make something serious, funny, and that is also one of the things I like about your work. Completely awesome, Keep up the awesome work Ryan. BTW are you planning on attending any comic cons in Toronto this year, would be awesome to meet you man. Please let me know. Thanks. Peace out.
