Ryan you aren't even the same artist I knew "when I knew you" you have become one of the best out there.. the way you convey emotion and body language is your strength because it makes the characters feel real. good stuff.

it's great to see the way you do your panels, you don't use a lot of camera angles, and still, everything works just fine,
people were criting me of not using a lot of different camera angles, and i was like: hey RYAN OTTLEY does it and it works just great, so why can't i?
or are the scripts written like that? or you prefer it like that?

No I use many different angles it just depends on the scene. I try not to over-do scenes, no pointless angles. You have to try to be a good Director/cameraman while drawing too, so watching good movies and see when they use angles is always good practice.

Even though it was like totally sad and made me feel for powerplex (who turned out way cooler than bizzaro invincible or evil invincible)... When invincible busted out the hug it was unintentional comedy gold. I heard in my head "Hug it out, Bitch". Anyway this one was emotionally charged. You kicked buns on the issue as a whole.

I just read this issue..and it is easily the best art you've ever done ..and some of the best art I've ever seen in a comic..
Something about Powerplex brings out the best in your work I think.

This issue was brutal, that guy has definitely got some issues to work out. Hopefully in later issues. By the way, I've been really digging the way you and Fco have been working together the past couple issues, it's been looking real great!!!

I'm wondering now if Mark will just kill the guy, the way Oliver would. I guess that's the theme of the arc, though, right? How far will Mark take his value-of-human-life sensibilities? Will he kill a man who's stated outright that he intends to kill Mark, no negotiation?
