Description Rytlock Brimstone use the power from his legendary fiery sword Sohothin to rise every human ghosts of Ascalon to his command. He promise that they will forever be free from the Foefire curse if they aid him to the battle againts the elder dragon Mordremoth.
Together with Logan Thackeray, they united Charr Legions, Human Seraph Forces and the ghostly Ascalonian Armies; quickly marching into the decisive battle with Mordemoth for the fate of Tyria!

I imported my player model in 3DS max but never could get the transparency right... his tail was like a rectangle with the texture lining up properly but displaying a weird line..

We desperately need a good tutorial on extracting and rigging characters.

I still have my project files and I'm still going to do it (even though it has been sitting on my D drive for months) but I certainly dread the rigging part (assuming I can fix the alpha map problems).

Playing in 3DS Max but I'm encountering this: imgur.com/NWAXLDZ Β  Do you have any ideas what causes this?

set you viewport display performance. It is in viewport setting.

I've set everything to as high as it can go; in particular Alpha is set to best.

Is there a setting in particular I should look for? This odd graphical glitch also seems to carry over into a render; hopefully not the model itself... I could remedy the problem by editing the vertices by hand and just move their positions up but if I'm going about this the wrong way, I would definitely like to know the right way to do things

I'm not a modeller, I just dabble. You could probably tell O_O

Β Is it because you extracted it from GW2 with the lowest texture setting option? Set game option to high and try extract again so that you get higher res texture.

i using Ninja Ripper to extract models from the game and combine with some other various program such as 3Ds Max to rigging and posing them :3

Ascalonian requiem will happen only when Prince Rurik comes out of the mists ridding on Rytlock's back screaming "Long have I traveled upon those lands!" and solo charges Mordremoth leaving all human players screaming in panic for not being abble to heal him in this game!....
