Description

TL;DR gnarls, identical parameters, different numerical integration methods. Enjoy!

Long version: I added primitive gradient coloring and custom functions to my program. This makes it possible to add custom functions to formulas and coloring algorithms, making them more flexible. I used this new feature to add another numerical scheme.

Both of these images use the same parameters, but the left one uses 4th order Runge-Kutta and the right one uses the Euler-forward scheme. The right is what is commonly used for almost all types of gnarls ever published as far as I am aware. The left is a much more stable scheme. Both are pushed into relatively high time steps here, causing visible numerical artifacts due to instability in the simulation. Since the two schemes are different, they also produce different artifacts.
