Description When Julian had signed up to help out with the Hippotherapy clinic, he had been intending to take Desi. However, the dates for the clinic got changed and Desi was a new mother. He knew that having a small foal in the arena would be distracting and potentially dangerous. Gecko was out of the question as he was a stallion, let alone the fact that he was far too shy to be comfortable doing the work. After thinking about it, he decided to see how Dia would react to the situation. She had been led for miles with weight on her back, and the children at the event would not be using the reins or anything to direct themselves. He worked on a lot of desensitization with Dia, making sure that any abrupt noises or movements would not startle her.
On the day of the clinic, Dia behaved flawlessly. She seemed much older than her true age and walked calmly by Julian's side as Patma directed the little girl on her back and made sure that she wasn't in danger of falling off.
