Description
Strawberries, cherries and an angel's kiss in spring... my summer wine is really made of all these things...
~ Summer Wine - Ville Valo & Natalia Avelon
Kind of a speedpaint, just 2h. I really needed to disconnect from exams and relax a little before going to bed.
Ulquihime eases my soul and I love those sunny days when it rains softly...
Dedicated to *Rusky-Boz for inspiring me no to end
Please enjoy!

Ah well, when I want to make rain effects I load the calligraphic brushes from photoshop's resources, I pick one that has the angle in which I want the rain to go and then I add a few lines here and there (they can be longer or shorter depending on the sort of rain you want, here it's raining softly so I went with longer lines but not many, if it was pouring i'd go with shorter and higher amount of lines). Then when the lines are there in their places, I go to Filter > Blur > Motion Blur and I modify the angle depending on the direction of my lines so that they will extend as much as I want them to, and I do this until I am satisfied with the results
Hope it's somewhat clear and/or helpful ...

Yeah as you will see in my description, I used sai to draw and paint everything except the rain and the petals that were made in photoshop. I find Photoshop is a good way of enhancing the work and adding nifty effects once it's done .
