I guess I'm just so tired of seeing people nowadays use VHS effects to look edgy or "ironic" that it's honestly just really refreshing to see them be utilized for something so light-hearted and sincere as this. It's clear that a lot of work went into getting both the animation and the effects to work well with each other.

The VHS effects added something to it... not sure what, but it made it feel like I was discovering something I hadn't seen in a long time.
What did you use to get those effects? I've never been able to duplicate them so well.
