Hey guys
here is another tutorial for you! Done in Paint tool SAI, last step in Adobe Photoshop
1. Paint on dark background, select base color and shape for the fire, i used only this brush in SAI
2. Create new layer with LUMINOSITY setting , use blue color, some with hight saturation
3. Create another new layer and again with Luminosity setting, use some lighter color
4. Use almost white but in blue tone color, and in the middle made more white flames
5. Some basic details
6. Open Adobe Photoshop, for those effect i recommended - Sparkle brushes, Dust Brushes, Smoke brushes - the smoke brush will make the best effect! Use vivid color brush setting, or create new layer with vivid color setting.

This is cool and all but i wonder if you know a way to do the same but without any background color (like black or green, ect)? Know these black colors are for better blending and the "screen" transparency effect but still

especially since even if you trim steps off you can still get something perfectly coherent

The last one is a bit over the top IMO, you lose most of your brushstrokes to this blinding light.

when i use LUMINOSITY and select blue or another color the program give me WHITE color i don't have the blue halo like you....i am so sad, that look like a great tuto but.....

what program are you using? and try a lighter color, or maybe change the background color because it will have an effect on how it looks.

paint tool sai 2 and i do EXACTLY what the tuto said, ok ryky use sai 1 the problem is the program you think ?

okay I use Sai as well, and all I can say is adjust the background color, just keep trying different things, colors, or settings.
