Hmm.. What kind of brushes do you use when you start drawing the hair part? Flat brush?

I get it...so he just takes it a few steps farther with some black and dark brown lets say and some very fine brushes I guess. It looks so real though doesn't it. He must start with a base of white and go from there huh?
