Beautiful artwork! I love the story it tells with the use of silhouettes and that sky looks beautiful, specially with those little sparks in there too.

I feel like it could've been a more dramatic piece if you would've placed the staff-wielding character closer to the viewer, around where the tree is now but in the foreground. This would create a nice balance in the image as well as bring your attention from the character and then towards the flying demon/dragon! I know you love to add a lot of glow and shine to cover up the lack of proper composition but I do think that you can do great things if you really tried!
