Permission to upload this has been granted by Densy.Big shout-out to my partner shootitout for working with me on this. They drew their Grem2 on the bike. I did the colors and the bike part.
Here's a look at a generic motorcycle used by racing Grem2's in legal motorcycle races. The shape of the bike is subject to minor changes pertaining to each different Grem2 racer (as well as the colors of course!) but the steering pedal and specifics like the engine and wheels (wheel design can be changed, just not the type) stay the same between racers to maintain fairness within a competition.
Racers found with illegal additions or parts to their bikes are ejected from the race and held on probation for a period of time. Bikes are thoroughly checked by officials before each race.
Note: Grem2's with long tails must either tie their tails out of the way or modify their bikes with a belt system to keep their tails from getting tangled up in the wheels!
These are the official legal racing competition bikes only. Illegal underground motor-racing bikes can vary from this general design (though the steering wheel is often the same for convenience purposes, however typical motorcycles with handles are often entered into illegal races as well!) but more information about those will be coming very soon.

(Be aware that your Grem2 can be a part of this as well as other groups or have other occupations and jobs! This group isn't exclusive and there will be positions for racers, pit crew, officials, dealers, etc. etc.)

Hello!
I'm creating a grem and I can see him maybe owning a motorcycle. However, he doesn't have the personality to actually race with it, but just use it as his standard vehicle to get around.
Is it alright if I used this motorcycle concept for him? If not, that's perfectly fine! I can designΒ my own ;v;

Oh sure! This motorcycle design is required for official racing but can also be used for casual transportation by non racers. I was tasked to make a motorcycle that worked for Grem2 and their unique anatomy (mostly their chubby hands and short fingers which would be difficult to control normal bike handles with) so it is totally okay to use for any and all grems and not just racers!

It's still a thing! It's a big WIP but you're more than welcome to write your beautiful Grem as a motorgrem, and just keep your eyes open for more information as the arpg develops and we finish working on things!

She definitely can! There's no major requirements for motorgrem, other than being a grem that rides motorcycles! There's gonna be some more stuff happening with the arpg that's in the works so you can do whatever you'd like in the meantime (and arpg participation is optional of course)
There will be little emblems and symbols to use in the arpg app thing in the future

Of course! Your Grem is more than welcome to become a racer if you would like them to be! Right now the group is still in progress, but we're working on a site with more information as well as official registration sheets and whatnot. So just keep and eye out for all of that coming up (hopefully) soon! As for right now, you're perfectly free to continue developing your Grem as a racer and whatnot, there's no rules or restrictions or anything you need to worry about!

Otherwise regarding illegal races, the bikes don't have to necessarily follow this standard design, since this is the official standard bike for legal races. Illegal bikes can have add ons, differing body shapes, and even be like human motorcycles!

(But on a side note, it sounds like some of the functions of steering could cause some traction issuses. And there is no clutch or shifter, you don't want an automatic for racing, they are way to slow.)

How often are these Grem2 races? Are those bikes expesive?

There's two different types of races ;u; Sorry for the incoming info-wave ahh
The official Motor-races feature the bikes shown in this reference. These races are held approximately every other week to every week (typically weekends) in a 'cup'-style. (Though there are smaller, less prestigeous races that occur ever so often during the week or weekends, these races are typically for small cash prizes or simply for recognition or practice) Basically this means that at the beginning of a race cup there will be the first race, depending on where the racer places, means they get a certain amount of points, and they continue through each race etc. (these are held very much like Nascar races, where there are a set number of races to accumulate points with large numbers of racers, then out of those scores, the top 10-15 are chosen to continue to the last ten or so races to try and win the cup and accompanying prizes)
NOW for official races, Grems can purchase their own bikes to enter under their own names (these bikes are fairly pricey, I'm not sure how currency in the Grem world works atm, but a Grem would definitely have to save up to purchase one, or build one from scratch) OR they can be sponsored by a company (meaning they race under the companies name, the company purchases the bike for them, and they in turn get part of the winnings).
The underground Motor-races are the illegal kind. The bikes races here are usually heavily modified versions of the bikes in this reference. They can be purchased or they can be built from scratch (it's typically cheaper to buy a beat-up or old and broken official racing bike and have one of the many mechanic Grems out there fix it up and modify it). These races are held throughout the week, sometimes multiple per week and are done at night (this allows for Grems who have regular day jobs to attend and bet on these races as fans, or be racers if they want to). Each race has a single prize pool for that particular night.
So in short.
Official cup races - Grems must dedicated much of their time to these, as there are up to ~40 races in the cup, held every weekend or so.
Official small races - These are one-time weekend or week races that any Grem with an official bike can enter. They can enter only one race, two, or however many they want. Each race has it's own prize. So the Grem can race one, then skip the next two, then race the fourth, etc. Allows for a lot of freedom for the Grem to race when they want.
Illegal Underground races - happen any time during the week or weekends at night. Any grem with any type of bike can enter and they can pick and choose what races they want. Each race has it's own prize. The downfall of these races is the risk of the entire race being shut down by authorities (people bet on these races, which is illegal gambling, and the bikes they ride are also not legal) but the Grems who run these races have gotten very good at keeping these secret.
So really your Grem can fit wherever you would like her to! She can race only when she wants, or for fun, or simply be a fan! It's completely up to you and we're trying to allow as many options and as much freedom as we can for people and their Grems. (like allowing them to have other jobs and occupations and lives and just race on the side!)

We'd be honored to have one of your Grems included! Being a racer does not have to be a full-time job either, many Grems race purely for fun and when their schedules allow it (aka they work in other professions normally like at coffee shops, etc), so feel free to have your Grem as a full time or part time racer, it's totally up to you!
