l33t typing X3Blargh..i'll get munching to the real facts.
This was supposed to be just an ordinary pic, but seeing that it's Yugi and Atem, i think this suits perfectly well for 's request. Yeah yeah i know i did hidden requests but like i said, i will consider a request.
Atem kinda is in my state now, a reflection of me. Pretty stressed up now...

i need a person like Yugi to cheer me up... x___x
Anyways, the bg is taken referrence from manga... boy was it a b1+c# to draw it. >.>
Done in OC, editted in photoshop for the kanji words at the top, saying " Daijoubu" meaning "It's all right." Still with the Pharaoh Yugi.. or maybe just a bro to Atem.. meh. Atem's either sitting on his throne, moping or leaning on a table. Either that. Yugi there wearing a pendant thing, like Dartz's. You get the picture.

I REALLY love the background. It looks really authentic, like all the piccys I've seen of reconstructed Egyptian stuff!!!! Did you do any research or is it based on piccys from the Manga???

It's great to see Atem looking all... normal *besides the clothes, obviously*.... he sighs and gets bored or stressed...
And then Yugi.... just awwww... He's the cutest, sweetest thing. All bright eyed. I wouldn't have Atem's expression for long facing that sort of cute understanding...
And to me... I've always thought of them as bros... Yugi/Yami and/or Yugi/Atemu....

it's take referrence from manga, and it's hard because mainly it focused on the characters and not the bg so i had to carefully examine the building structure, add a bit of my imagination and wallah... background

I love the way you draw in OC, and I admire your ability to draw hands, humans, Yugi and both their hair. oO'' No.. I don't lack skill << >> mmyeah. If I had to say anything, I'd say that Yugi's head seems slightly disproportioante in that his chin seems to jut out a little too far, but it's so cute that you kinda miss that, and maybe I just have no idea of anatomy.
Anyway. That is so incredibly huggable.. although I've said that fifty times already. Mwhee. -goes off to die in some corner-

what do you think it is? inked and scanned? X3 I haven't done that for months.
Those flowy lines? I dunno.. i just did the pencil/pen tool to a slightly bolder print, then when i've finished, i'll just use the eraser tool to slightly erase some part of the bold lineart and that's were i got that clean,flowy,bold ink-like lines ^^ time consuming for those who aren't used to doing drawing on pc, but i'm already used to it, to me mouse is like a tablet lol.

yesh...i also espescially hate when all these ideas come to you at the same time. I don't know how to "structurize" my time very well to do the drawings I want all in due time...
and i use photoshop 7. lately, my computer has been a real ass with me. 'specially photoshop. i open it up, go on there for 5 mintutes, and i friggen shuts down my whole comp. for no friggen reason....yeah, gonna go get my labtop fixed...>.>

usually comes by when i'm on the comp tho, i played solitaire or free cell to think of something, or maybe go watch an episode or two to see if there is something to destroy of (hence the kaiba and noah gag) or maybe look at the fanarts i've saved in the pc.
when i do get an idea, up i go opening the OC and sketch it on there before i forgot all about it. stumped? no prob. kicking the king's ass or two on free cell did the job for me.
