l33t typing X3Blargh..i'll get munching to the real facts.
This was supposed to be just an ordinary pic, but seeing that it's Yugi and Atem, i think this suits perfectly well for 's request. Yeah yeah i know i did hidden requests but like i said, i will consider a request.
Atem kinda is in my state now, a reflection of me. Pretty stressed up now...

Anyways, the bg is taken referrence from manga... boy was it a b1+c# to draw it. >.>
Done in OC, editted in photoshop for the kanji words at the top, saying " Daijoubu" meaning "It's all right." Still with the Pharaoh Yugi.. or maybe just a bro to Atem.. meh. Atem's either sitting on his throne, moping or leaning on a table. Either that. Yugi there wearing a pendant thing, like Dartz's. You get the picture.

I know the feeling... I don't get enough good crits, either. *sniff* Of course, it doesn't help that I don't have much time to post much.
As for backgrounds... yep, gradients. Carefully used gradients (see most of my newest colored pics), but gradients all the same. *L* I've done very few images with full real backgrounds, usually because, up until the past couple of years, I specialized in character pinups/poses and rarely did scenes.
