Hello there!I must admit, the more often I watch the Hobbit2 the more fun I have XD First time seeing it kind of confuses me, especially all the elf-action that wasn´t in the book. But the second time my brother (who is a huge fan) dragged me into the theatre I was able to blend out all the differences to the book and had a lot of fun with all the "fanfiction"-stuff XD My friends and I are making stupid elf-jokes for weeks, I could make complete comic-strips with all that material XD
And sometimes it is funny to think "what if". What if real life physics would hit the movie? When Legolas is surfing on one dwarf´s head, shouldn´t the barrel fill up with water making both of them sink XD I know, I know elves are awesome and can do anything, especially one-man-army Legolas, but sometimes it´s just fun thinking about it, right? XD
I had so much fun drawing all the weird faces! XD My favourite is Bilbo *_*

To answer your elf weight question, the movie was accurate there. According to Tolkien, the elves are very light weight, and the best example from the earlier LOTR movies, is when you see Legolas walking easily over the top of snow drifts while everyone else sinks down. So, it is not unreasonable for an elf to stand on barrels and not make them sink, and also to jump and climb through trees without breaking or bending branches.

LOL I love this, the expression on Legolas' face is fantastic. I think I'm a bad fan, I loved the book, but I thought the movie was awesome - the more Elves, the better I like it!

I admire your skills but I hate this concept. I really loathed what PJ did with the Dwarves in the second film, and having the elves saving them was totally unnecessary.

Thank you! I agree it was unnecessary and felt much like fanfiction. But the second time I saw this (and to my own surprise) I somehow could leave all my thoughts about the book behind and laughed about this in a so-over-the-top-it´s-funny-way. On the other hand I also can completely understand that people who love the book way more than I do don´t like this movie at all.

THAT IS EPIC!!!! I love it! Oh just in case your want to know Elves are suppose to weigh almost nothing, That is how Legolas can walk atop the snow in The fellowship of the ring. I am not meaning to be a know it all, Just wanted to share. I really do like this picture! there faces are priceless, and Logolas looks amazing!
