Hello there!I must admit, the more often I watch the Hobbit2 the more fun I have XD First time seeing it kind of confuses me, especially all the elf-action that wasn´t in the book. But the second time my brother (who is a huge fan) dragged me into the theatre I was able to blend out all the differences to the book and had a lot of fun with all the "fanfiction"-stuff XD My friends and I are making stupid elf-jokes for weeks, I could make complete comic-strips with all that material XD
And sometimes it is funny to think "what if". What if real life physics would hit the movie? When Legolas is surfing on one dwarf´s head, shouldn´t the barrel fill up with water making both of them sink XD I know, I know elves are awesome and can do anything, especially one-man-army Legolas, but sometimes it´s just fun thinking about it, right? XD
I had so much fun drawing all the weird faces! XD My favourite is Bilbo *_*

Yup and I know about those magic three stones and killing the king of Wood Elves event, but he was a dick anyway, he had it coming to him. Still I prefer Dwarfs, even though I'm not a fan of what Tolkien did with their race. I MUCH prefer Warhammer Dwarfs.

But that does not justify the treachery of the dwarves, who had no right or claim to the Silmaril, and they certainly had no right in killing the king. Thingol might not have been very wise, but his death brought about the fall of a great kingdom.

Sadly I don't care about those ''poor, sad and hurt'' pointy year Mary Sues. They just left a very bad taste in my mouth since my choldhood when I watched Lotr movies, I HATED them back then and it probably wont ever leave me. But yes it's not justified, Dwarfs have been greedy and all that, but Thingol was the one that insulted them. Still I don't really care lately about Lotr universe mostly due to the fact how poorly race of Dwarves was depicted by Tolkien, seriously they deserve BETTER! It just seemed to me like he constantly shits on Dwarfs giving only Gimli good ending while making rest of his race extinct. WTF!?

It helps to bear in mind that the dwarves were not originally part of the plan for Arda. It was only by Illuvitar's mercy that Aule was able to keep them. Tolkien wrote them that way for a purpose. Dwarves were never supposed to exist, so it's only just that they die out. Gimli was shown a great amount of grace and mercy to be accepted into Valinor

Yeah, my favorite race was written as unwanted children that were destined to extinct and their only purpose in Lotr universe was to bring some comedic relief, show in comparison how superior are those damn elves and to be there more than 3 main races. Not include them in end of the world, not include them in most of the Lotr besides Gimli and only show them as greedy f*ckups that release on the world a demon. And out of all of them only one was shown as decent one in main trilogy, Gimli.

Maybe Tolkien had some ideas or maybe not, but now I have Warhammer with probably the best Dwarf character I've ever seen, Gotrek Gurnisson. If you like fantasy books then I highly recommend Adventures of Gotrek and Felix. Great adventure books with Dwarf Chuck Norris and his human pet.
