Here's a request that I have been working on for a week. Ten-ton Ninja asked me to draw his to-be-girlfriend as a ninja with a shuriken, a suit similar to Taki, and a waterfall.The character came out great. I had that sketched and in Illustrator within an hour. I used weighted lines for the first time ever. I think they look great.
Took it to Photoshop and colored it using techniques from augustc4's Spicy Curry Brush that I had to modify since I didn't like the 24 point spacing. I like Zero spacing. As quickly as I brush, the spacing on 25 looked very blotchy. This is the first time I have colored using that method and I think it came out very well.
On to the waterfall... how many different waterfalls did I draw? Five. Yes, 5. I've never drawn a waterfall, water, anything. I suck really bad at it. And I am even worse at painting. It's ok if I've sketched it out and have lines for it. But this was a pure painted background. GAH! I hate waterfalls now. LOL.
The foreground was much easier and I like it a lot. Clumps of grass.
All and all I think this one came out really great. I know Ninja will love it. I'm sick of it right now, 'cause of that stupid waterfall. =0Þ

Ooh, very nice ur final version came out very nice. The shading on the ninja is amazing. Your waterfalls pretty nice, does need work but if its a first than i'd say it came out nicely
