Description
A small experiment with postwork fog, whereby I conclude that it is far easier and less time consumig to add fog in postwork, than it is in putting fo into the render. The later not only destroys image information, but pushes up the render time. This image was rendered in 10 minutes, with fog-props, it may have been an hour.
Same goes for "depth of field" (Things far away = Blurry). While it doesn't affect render time, you have to decide up front which part shall be blured and which not. With postwork you can decide and experiment later.
I visualized the workflow here:

Impressive! But...hunting a T-Rex with a bat'leth? Oh, there are some Klingons who would try... "Think of the glory to be gained, when I slay this Earth monster!"
"The wind does not respect a fool. At least you will die like a Klingon. I will give the Cry when I know of your death."
Of course, Klingons hunt the Plains beast (Think an elephant-sized antelope, with a rhino's hide and temper.) with spears, but in parties of at least 3 or more.
Great render!

Just the honest truth!
Saw the video, loved the video!
O.K., looks like our Nimrod, in both meanings (A mighty hunter and an inept person...) might have a better chance than I first thought. In fact, slashing the hamstrings of the back legs is a proper tactic for dealing with Plains beasts. (In my own head canon...) Of course Klingons would hunt cloned T-Rexes for the symbolic value alone...

Β The fog effect is fine, the postwork you're using is now really great and 2D effect is at top, I noticed something about the light on DAZ, the less you use it the more you have a 3D effectΒ

I was obsessed with dinosaurs as a small child -- Tyrannosaurus Rex is my favorite next to Triceratops -- Is the Hunter a Klingon?

Yes Actually it is this dude: www.daz3d.com/wargahn-alien-fo⦠, but I would bet, that the creator had a klingon in mind
