Description
Samus is copyright of Nintendo.Snake's Box is copyright of Konami. (I think...?)
Model obtained from Facepunch Studios Forums.
---
Been getting a few requests here and there to make more Samus renders. So I caved.
As you can see, I have Snake's cardboard box now. I actually modeled the box myself (It's painfully easy to make one...) But the textures are just like the game's. It's low-res probably because the box only appears for a few seconds or so during gameplay in Super Smash Bros. anyway.
I gave her a smile in Photoshop as usual.

I downloaded the model from the Garry's mod site, imported it into Maya, made the box in maya.

You mean provide a link to the site where I got the models from? Sure, but you'll need a 3D program like Maya to do anything with it.

I bought it off my school's site with a student discount since I'm studying Game Design at the Art Institute...I think your best bet would be to buy it online. Just a warning, though, the normal price for Maya is around $8000.

Sorry, as you had already mentioned Samus on the first line, I thought the model you were referring to was the cardboard box

Dope
I got that model too, but her hair opacity is a bit low lol.
And what did you use? I've read that its been rigged but I can't find how to do that. (3dsmax)

If you're asking how to rig, I'm the wrong guy, sorry. I don't know how to rig, either. This model came with one already made and attached to it.

Thanks for the reply, but yo I found it out lol
The rig was attached to it yes, and I finally found out how to move it. I'm rigging the Snake ripped model myself right now.

I really need to learn how to rig...I've got a lot of models on hand without rigs that I'd love to use in pictures...

Dang. That is one sexy box.
Have you ever experimented with lighting? Even without set, it could be film noir, and it's almost as easy as taking away a sun here and adding a few lamps for a straight upstage lighting.
Nice PS, by the way

Yeah, I was going to add shadows and stuff to this one, but it came out looking bad...
